Senior Analyst/Assistant Manager, GL

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

ROLE PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for the GL functions like Fixed assets accounting, Bank reconciliations, monthly reconciliations and month end closing, etc. following the rules of General Procedures and SOPs.

Key Objectives:

• Fixed assets accounting – Capitalisation, Retirement, Depreciation run, FA and Project Accounting Reconciliations.

• Intercompany reconciliations

• Performing bank reconciliations

• Other Balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline

• Month end journal entries – revaluation, adjustments, etc.

• Ability to Handle Complex tasks

• Project Management (planning/ execution/ status sharing)

• Lead Work Transitions (Scoping/ Planning/ Status Calls/ SOP revisit)

• Drive Process improvements

• Payroll related accounting

• Preparing process KPIs and other R2R reporting

Experience and Qualification

Work Experience:                7-15 years in GL accounting

Education :                           B.Com/M.Com/MBA/CA

Licensing/Certification:         Chartered Accountant-is an advantage

Functional Knowledge:         Knowledge of finance and accounting

Technical Knowledge:          Knowledge of integrated financial software.

Language:                            Fluent English
