What it involves: Plant operation and monitoring, metallurgical testing and process optimisation, and troubleshooting recovery/grade issues in the circuit.

Typical requirements: Operator roles are often open to candidates without a mining background; metallurgist/process-engineer roles typically need a relevant engineering or science degree.
