Pilbara Minerals' flagship hard-rock lithium operation, Pilgangoora sits about 140km south-east of Port Hedland on Nyamal and Kariyarra Country. In production since 2018 and expanded under the P1000 project completed in 2025, the site now produces around one million tonnes of spodumene concentrate a year — roughly a tenth of global hard-rock lithium supply — from a resource with a projected 31-year mine life.
