One of the world's largest known hard-rock lithium deposits, Wodgina is run as a 50/50 joint venture between Mineral Resources and Albemarle on Kariyarra Country, north of Port Hedland. The open-pit mine and three-train flotation concentrator process ore into roughly 750,000 tonnes of spodumene concentrate annually, trucked to Port Hedland for export, with an on-site FIFO camp housing up to 900 people.
